Data-in-Transit Encryption -
All connections to ePORT are performed over an encrypted connection. The service uses version 1.2 of the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol to ensure that all information that is transmitted over the Internet from your computer's web browser to Equifax's servers is secure and cannot be altered or stolen en-route.
Security Certifications -
Equifax operates a global Information Security Management System (ISMS) that has been independently certified as compliant with the international security standard ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The ISMS covers the security policies, procedures and standards implemented within all the Equifax businesses and countries, as well as the underlying technologies that secure the operation of the different services provided by Equifax. These services are also regularly reviewed by independent security experts who conduct security penetration tests, on-site assessments, and policy/incident management reviews.
Additionally, Equifax has a dedicated global team of security practitioners who conduct their own regular security assessments of the services, and supporting technology platforms, provided to our customers.
